Water - essential resources for upcycling.
We collect rainwater and use it as water necessary for the upcycling process, and wastewater that is discarded after washing is filtered and used again as washing water. The water footprint reaches ‘0’ through this means. When we make a bag, we save an average of 560 liters of water compared to a conventional leather bag. But we still have a lot to do. We don’t think we’re perfect. So, our continuous efforts continue.
Detergent - washing with eco-friendly detergent
Chemical detergents are never used for washing upcycling materials. We self-developed eco-friendly detergent made mainly of coconut oil and baking soda. This reduces water pollution and provides better products to consumers.
Animal-natural leather bag without using natural leather
Leather seats, a representative material that cannot be recycled when automobiles are produced or scrapped. We have just turned the discarded material back into use. We made it useful without killing animals indiscriminately to get new hides. 0% leather exhausted, but 100% real leather.
Through our hands, uselessness turns into uselessness. We collect leather seat covers, airbags, and seat belts, which are non-recyclable automobile waste that could only be landfilled, and use them as main materials for our products. The more we make bags, the more our environmental value effect increases. It delivers simple and powerful environmental effects. Everything in the world is worth it.
We are self-supplying electric energy through solar energy. In 2020, our plant achieved 100% renewable energy usage, and by 2021, we plan to produce 150% of the electric energy used in our plant. We take one step closer to realizing the goal of zero carbon footprint.
